Renewable Energy Set - Solar , Wind , Water , Hand Generator

Our Renewable Energy Set contains everything that students require to investigate solar power, wind energy, water power and electrical generation with a hand generator.

All of our components are compatible with each other.

The set includes:

1. Solar Panel with an output of 0.33 Amps and 6 Volts and so generates 2 Watts of power. This is powerful enough to power the motor fast enough to fly the helicopter disk high in the air.
2. Hand Generator with an output of 0.25 Amps and 1.5 Voltsand so generates of 0.4 Watts. This is enough power to make the motor spin, the LED glow brightly and the globe glow dimly. We have chosen this generator for its reliability and the strength of the gears. This generator won't strip its gears like traditional classroom hand generators
3. A Wind / Water generator with 4 blades. This generator can be powered by blowing on it like a wind turbine, or using a stream of water to turn the blades. It comes with a LED lamp fitted which lights up brightly. 
4. DC Motor and Helicopter Disk
5. Globe holder and two incandescent lamps
6. LED lamp (red)
7. Leads with clip connectors for the hand generator
8. Leads with clip connectors and alligator clips so that you can connect the equipment to traditional Ammeters, Voltmeters and Multimeters.
9. 25cm of nichrome wire for various power experiments.
10. Small bag with 12 LEDs (2 x red, 2 x green, 2 x blue, 2 x yellow, 2 x orange, 2 x white) These are compatible with the wind/water generator.
11. A sturdy plastic storage container with laser cut firm foam infill.

Note We stock replacement components for all our sets so if any item is inadvertently lost, damaged or broken it can be replaced - keeping your sets complete.
