This small scale model is perfect for allowing students to investigate real-world applications of sustainable energy and how wind and water can be harnessed to generate power. 

As the blades rotate, kinetic energy from the moving air is converted into mechanical energy, which the generator transforms into electrical energy. Using a simple fan, hairdryer or running water from a tap, it is a great way to visually indicate the electrical output with the low energy consumption LED light (included)
