Physics Optical Light Experiment Ray Box Kit

The Physics Optical Light Experiment Kit is designed to explore the fascinating world of the wave properties of light through hands-on investigation. 

We believe this is a superior alternative to the traditional classroom Hodson Ray box kit, as the rays of light are far brighter and easier to see and a transformer and powerpoints are not required. These kits are battery operated diode lasers and so can be used in a general purpose classroom.

Key Learning Outcomes:

• Investigate the path of light and demonstrate how it travels in straight lines
• Explore reflection using plane, concave and convex mirrors and understand the law of reflection
• Demonstrate and measure the refraction of light as it bends through glass and lenses
