Hand Crank Electricity Generator Dynamo Renewable Energy

It hasn't been easy finding a hand crank generator that is robust enough to withstand the punishment of a classroom environment, but we think we've nailed it!

This hand crank generator is fully compatible with our electrical equipment.

The output power is determined by the speed of cranking.

You can use it to light up one of our light globes. 

Connect it to our motor and spin the helicopter disk. Change the direction by spinning the handle in the opposite direction.

Demonstrate the directional nature of an LED.

Connect to one of our solar panels and see how the generator can functions as a gear box.

The transparent case allows students to see how gearing can be used to both increase and decrease speeds.

Senior students can even set-up circuits including the ammeter and voltmeter to to determine the power output of the hand crank genertor.

If you're lucky enough to have one of our sound modulator kits you can even hook up the generator to the hamburger amplifier/speaker and hear the sound produced.
