Electronic Balance Scale - Battery powered scales with 0.01 gram accuracy Max load 500g

The accuracy of the scales is 0.01 grams and it has a rated load of 500 grams.

They come with 2 Duracell or Energizer  batteries (Nothing but the best!)

If the scales are overloaded with more than the maximum capacity

they can be permanently damaged and warranty will be voided.

Overloading includes pushing down on the pan with a force greater

than 5 Newtons (The weight of a 0.5kg object)

If hot items need to be weighed, one of our heat proof mats needs to be placed on the scales first.

The scales need to be used on a firm, stable and vibration free surface.

Avoid rough treatment as this will damage the internal sensor.

Avoid shaking, dropping or shocking the scale. Handle with care.

The scales themselves have a weight of 100 grams

The pan is 5cm wide and 5.5cm long and can actually hold a standard 250ml beaker or conical flask.

The scales can be purchased in class sets in a caddy.
