Bunsen Burner portable for the Tiny Science Lab

Important notice - Tiny Science Lab will only fulfil an order of a Bunsen Burner if you already own, or have purchased our timber table, heat proof mat with hole, tripod and wire gauze. The Bunsen burner is designed to fit into the table and without the table it is simply too dangerous to use without the accessories.

If you do not own, or have not purchased the Bunsen Burner accessories mentioned above TSL will refund and cancel your order.

You may be required to provide photographic evidence that you do indeed own the accessories if we can not find a past order from you including them.

1. Bunsen Burner including 3D printed table adaptor - This product is compatible with our Chemistry Sets. The Butane Bunsen Burner includes a custom-fitted plastic adapter for our table. The Butane gas is not included and the table in the image is also not included. The product has a height of 120mm and it has a diameter of 15mm

2. Bunsen Burner without 3D printed table adaptor - It is a 3 minute process to remove the table adaptor and refit it to the new one.

The product weight is 51 grams. 

Instructions are included via digital download on how to swap the table adaptor across from the non-working Bunsen Burner to the new one. The process takes about 3 minutes.

Step 1. Remove the black table adaptor from the

non-functioning Bunsen Burner by pushing up on

it firmly with your two thumbs.

It may require some alternative ‘wriggling’, but it will pop off.

Step 2. Put the black table adaptor into a cup of hot water

for one minute.

This will soften it and make it a bit more rubbery,

making it easier to push onto the new Bunsen Burner. 

Step 3. Remove the adaptor from the hot water using tweezers.

Push the adaptor up from the bottom of the Bunsen Burner until it clicks into place. You will need to ‘wriggle’ it up.
